Rosie's Battleship Potemkin - BW

This work was created from a still of the 1925 silent film The Battleship Potemkin. In creating this piece my intention was to capture the movement and asymmetrical balance. Movement: I did this with the use of dynamic angular shapes. Asymmetrical balance: I did this with the use of smaller shapes on the left (of the same tone) balanced asymmetrically with a larger shape (on the right).
